Privacy policy
Stupid Dumb Phone is designed to help you use less technology. It does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data.
Screen Time access
With your permission, the app uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks to let you choose allowed apps and temporarily shield distracting app categories and websites. Apple provides opaque selection tokens; Stupid Dumb Phone does not learn the names of the apps or websites you select. Selection and schedule information stays on your device.
Camera and microphone
The shoot-only camera requests camera access for photos and camera-and-microphone access for videos. Captures are shown only inside the temporary camera preview. The app does not browse your photo library, upload captures, or save them to a server.
Calls, texts, and maps
When you choose Calls, Texts, or Maps, the app opens the corresponding Apple system experience. Stupid Dumb Phone does not read your call history, messages, contacts, or location.
Analytics and tracking
The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account system, or cross-app tracking. It does not use device or Screen Time information for advertising or measurement.
Children and changes
Stupid Dumb Phone is a personal productivity tool. It does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else. If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes ship.
